I have a new Mavic Air. The latest firmware on aircraft remote and DJI App.

When I go into quickshot mode I get no Boomerang or Asteroid Mode.

What am I doing wrong?

Are yo maybe in sports mode?

Hi there, just to verify, do you mean that other Quickshot modes exist but no Asteroid and Boomerang? In this case, you can try to reinstall the app, note to back up the files and sync the records before removing the app. If the issue persists, please provide me with the screenshots of the firmware version and the Quickshot modes. Thank you.

Mavic Air has not update latest firmware (because I'm afraid of  the problem as described here https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... amp;fromuid=1580054)

I reinstalled DJI GO 4 app (on Android) but problem still exists.

I'm ok now.... i had try with another PC and DJI Assistant 2, re upgrade the latest firmware 1.0200

It's true that upgrade AC's firmware to .200 will make asteroid and boomerang mode available.

BTW, upgrade will still keep the link between AC and RC. At the moment, only if connect AC will mobile phone (via wifi) will break the link between AC and RC (the problem described here https://forum.dji.com/thread-134545-2-1.html)

Firmware v1.0.1.0 or later than this version support the Asteroid and Boomerang. We always recommend that users upgrade the latest firmware because it's the optimization to the previous one,  thank you for your support.

I updated to the latest firmware, uninstalled DJI Go 4 app and reinstalled and still no luck....any other suggestions?

Same here. Reinstalled app, refreshed the current firmware updates to ac and rc, restarted everything....no boomerang no asteroid.
Ideas?

Hi.

I had the problem too. I was nearly 110% sure I had the latest firmware and the latest DJI Go App. I ended up re-installing the App on my tablet and performed another firmware upgrade (refresh).

It started working after that.

I just shot an Asteroid shot on my Air with the new Firmware.  I will open another thread as I am having an issue, but the option is there in Go 4.
