Wanting to know peoples thoughts on owning the Mavic Air if you already own the Spark and Mavic Pro. Is it worth it?

Sell the Spark for it

In your case no Mavic Pro is good enough, but iy you are buying first drone Air is great option

LOL - I'm sure she'd love a new Mavic Air

I own a Spark, MA, MP and P4P - each has it's own advantage.

MP feels like the best one, except for the bitrate.

If the Mavic Air had Occusync instead of connection over wifi I would sell both the Spark and Mavic Pro for that.

I think you’d be quite surprised with the Air’s WiFi.  I know I was impressed.

I have a MPP and a Spark. I’ve had my Air for about 2 weeks and if is now my favorite drone. I like being able to shoot in 2.7 @ 60p.  More than enough resolution for any screen I’ll view it  but still able to shoot 4K 30p  if I want to.

Yeah, the Air has kinda become my favorite as well.

I can see the appeal, especially with the rear-facing sensors in that small of a package. I do a lot of active track out on the water and the ability to track backward with added security is a plus

Maybe it also could use some better glass. From what I read, hear and see online, MP is sharper.

The main cost in drones is the camera - cut through all the tech and that is where the price is driven.

DJI does a very good job introducing technologies available in one or 2 drones but not the entire fleet. Their business sense is ingenious.

For my needs the MA is perfect.  Small and portable, easy to fly, much more durable gimbal and the wireless is surprisingly good. I’ve flown my MA in very conjested neighborhood environments where the Spark would previously struggle. The MA hasn’t dropped signal once in those same locations.  For a drone that practically fits in the palm of your hand, that is downright incredible.

It is amazing how rapid the rate of change in technology just in the past 18 months. Looking forward to a Mavic Pro 2 hopefully

Nope. Not for me.  When I wear out one of them (Spark or MP) I might consider something similar (or whatever's available) as a replacement.  If someone is looking for their first DJI and has some flying experience, it would be my recommendation.

No way would I ever sell my Mavic pro for the air. Is it eight upgrade from the spark absolutely. The air was never intended to replace the Mavic pro or the platinum. I think the air as its place. It’s a great drone for people who want to play with it on vacation.  I can’t wait to see what they do with the Mavic pro 2. Now that is going to be the replacement for the Mavic pro.  Not the Air.

I have the Spark and the air. Now I don’t know what to do with the Spark... I love it but barely use it any more.

Air is a great little drone, but boy is it loud! The MP with low noise props is really quiet by comparison!
