Happy Chinese New Year day ....Me and my wife was shoting this video during Valentine’s Day...
and we have think about DJI forum team because we was using a drone for do it ...
yes I know ... someone can think it’s a stupid...
but honestly...
we were there ... and we liked to be there to send the magiclights in the sky ...
everything was started like a game...
but then this was very nice and fun ... so ...
we decided to dedicate this video also to the Chinese new year and to all DJI team

Yes, Lume Cubes are diminutive LED lights that use appropriate mounts to illuminate scenes for photography, but also help increase VLOS in bright or low light conditions.

I didn't yet , but look like useful...
in my country, it’s better don’t fly during the dark light ...
so I was just some moment before it ...
I think it’s the best time to shot something like a lantern or the light in the city ...

Yes, I have a set of Lume Cubes on my Phantom 3 Pro. They're a great addition to my flight kit.
Also purchased the Lighthouses, for applying various different color filters and gels.

There are seven different strobe modes as well, so it's very easy to see your drone, while far down the field. I had several instances where I lost sight of my drone, when I looked down at the RC and screen.
That doesn't occur anymore. I can see the twinkling lights, several miles out. Even on a bright sunny day.
Night flights are a whole other story. Yes, it's against some regulations to fly after sunset. But sometimes rules need to be bent slightly. In our favor. ;-)

You can't ever be wrong in your implementing devices for improving your VLOS.

They work great and offer, much better peace of mind on longer flights.

And what you think about a gps tracker?
Extra light , like a strobo fixed on the back , give for sure more visibility, especially during a distance flight.
But I’m thinking to looking for a very small gps tracker with a sim card ( phone data signal )
Sometimes happen to fly over trees , cross a river or somewhere ... you know ...
and I would like have something independent from drone RC signal...

You shouldn't cross over trees where a direct line to your RC is blocked. That's how problems often happen.


Having a tracking device is fine, if you are within reading distance of it.

My only question is , if this can give some problem on gps Drone or other?
I mean... gps tracker it’s ok , but it work with other signal that can give interference?

No, I have no GPS tracker experience. To my mind, they are a waste of money.


But if it gives you peace of mind, in case you have a fly away, great.
