Given DJI had issues with the recent iOS 11 update with P4 Std. and the HDMI port, is it okay now to do the update to iOS since the recent GO 4 a couple of days ago mentioned GO 4 and the HDMI now working again?

No problems yesterday when I flew.

No problems here running all the latest on iPhone 6s Plus and iPad pro 9.7 both at iOS 11.2.5.

Can I ask what rc number anyone has that the hdmi module is working on? I have a GL300F, and if I install the hdmi module, the Go4 app fails to recognise the controller at all. Desperate to get a client feed going for a job this week.

Mrbill, what's the current version of RC, mobile OS, and APP? The compatibility issue of HDMI has been figured out in the newer version, make sure all have been updated to the latest version and check again.

I just updated the aircraft. I then installed the hdmi module into the p4p rc. Pressing c1 and c2 produced no noise, and when I launched the Go4 app, in the about section of the menu, the app doesn’t recognise the rc version at all, despite saying it was connected on the launch screen. This is as far as I’ve got with this issue, and I had a very unhappy client at the weekend who didn’t have a monitor to check framing, moves and so on. This will end up losing me money and clients in the long run - I need a fix urgently.. It seems this module is working for the majority of people flying P4 pros.

I would like DJI to supply me (or preferably the dealer where I bought the drone from)  with a replacement hand set asap. It seems this module is working for the majority of people flying P4 pros.

With the P4 the RC firmware needed to be reinstalled after HDMI module fitted, also I believe HDMI out needs to be configured in DJI Go 4 (working from memory here). If you need a quick fix then it may be worth looking at both these for your P4P.

Thanks, but if you read my post, you’ll see that installing the module causes the app not to recognise the rc anymore. Thus any kind of configuration or firmware update is impossible
