Does anyone connect their phone to the RC utilizing the USB port on the bottom of the controller?  I’ve heard this may provide a more stable transmission signal with improved refresh rate over the default connection on the side.

Has anyone tried this and are there any tips for connecting with that method?

The USB port set on the bottom of the RC is said to be trickling charge into your phone slower than the one at side of the RC.
And there is also the fact the one on the side is micro USB and the one on the bottom normal USB
