New osmo mobile 2 does not connect to DJI Go

after trying for two hours, I am still not able to connect my DJI Go app on my iphone 7 with my new omo mobile 2.
I always get the message „ungültiges Gerät“. In english I would translate this by „invalid“ device or „not the right device“.
I bought the osmo mobile 2 at the apple store.
Should I simply send it back?

Hi Robi, do you see the Bluetooth signal from your Osmo Mobile 2 ? Also, you may try to update first using the DJI Assistant 2.

if you have iOS 11, apple released a new update with better support for external devices:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208067

and be shure there is the osmo 2 selected in DJI GO (not DJI Go 4 !)


wenn du iOS 11 verwendest hat apple ein neues update bereit gestellt um besser mit externen geräten zu kommunizieren

und stell sicher das auch wirklich der osmo 2 angewählt ist in DJI GO (nicht DJI GO 4 ! )

Yes I see the Bluetooth signal on my iPhone.
The osmo mobile 2 connects to the phone by bluetooth.
The problem starts when I want to connect the osmo to the app.
When I start the app,  I am asked to connect the osmo mobile 2.
And then, I get the message „ungültiges Gerät“,which means uncompatible device.
That‘s all, it is not possible to get anything else.

I should add that I have the right app (DJI Go) on my iphone.
The problem starts, when I want to connect to my account, when I am asked to do so by the app

I’m also having same problem after 3-r weeks of usage, my phone connects to the gimbal but once I open the DJI go app the Osmo mobile 2 isn’t recognized....
