There does not seem to be a way to use the port next to the memory chip on the aircraft  to connect directly to an IPhone or IPad.  

  Do you make a cable for this or is it necessary to have a operating system other than Apple iOS ?

Sorry not clear what AC you are talking about or what function you are wanting to do (download video/pics), the micro disc can be removed and download to PC.Not clear which app you are using, in the DJI Go app I have my video/pics are Cached to iPad automaticly (it is in app under general settings).
Just a little more info and someone will be able to help.
