I had a iPhone that went in water and put it in rice was all ok and 2 weeks later it died completely. You're asking $350? When they go for $500-550 new.

I would be interested but my offer would be $150-200 range considering it was water damaged. I'm looking for a used camera and gimbal to modify.

I'll offer you max $30.00.  Actually, $25.00 because it is salt water.  Good luck!!!!
And yes, it is not a typo, I did not forget any zero's.

Buyers beware, salt water devastates electronics.  Seller informs no returns, no refunds, no kidding...

Enjoy your chargeback within a 1-3 months. That's right... It doesn't matter if you have no returns listed on eBay. The buyer can always fight it with PayPal. Buyer has over 180 days to return. Have a great day!

It was in salt water?  No warranty?  No returns?  Anyone who gives you more than $25 for it isn't thinking carefully.

Sorry, you're not going to get a free ride coming here and trying to take advantage of people.

If it was salt water, the corrosion has already started!
It may work now but it won't in a little while........

Rinsing it off with water was a good start, however if you then sprayed it down with WD-40 let it sit overnight then blown it off with air it more then likely could have been saved.  This is a common method used by many electronic techs.

Honestly we have no way to know.  Sorry for the harsh message.  But people do this all the time (not necessarily here) and it's really unfortunate when someone who doesn't know any better buys something like that, it works for a few days, and then dies.  Salt is both corrosive and conductive, and it's unlikely that you could get it out of every nook and cranny of that assembly.  I would expect it to eat the electronics and the bearings in the gimbal, taking from a few days to a few weeks depending on how good a rinse job it got.  COULD it have been saved?  Yes.  But that would be like the buyer winning the lottery.  The bigger risk is that if there is still salt in the connectors it will transfer to the Inspire, requiring replacement of the gimbal bracket.  Fortunately that's not a hugely expensive part.  Saying this now for your benefit so you understand the reaction your posting got.
