Ok I have a few flights under my belt ,and yes I read the manual , on the return to home RTH ,when you use it where is its starting point ? Altitude from take off point ? The reason I ask is because ,let's say I take off near a cliff and I fly below my take off point and it's like negative 100 feet and I hit RTH does it fly up to the take off altitude then up to the RTH height you set ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, the drone will rise vertically to RTH altitude than fly towards you. If you took off at 100m above sea level and your RTH altitude is 50m. Let's say you are at 50m above sea level and hit RTH; the drone will rise to 150m and RTH. You should read a bit more on the RTH topic as it can be a bit tricky in sometime.

Your lost me with the sea level stuff , thanks anyways , another question ok let's say I am flying at 350 feet and my RTH height is set at 150 feet will it drop down or fly at the height it is ? No sea level answers lol.thanks

It will remain at 350. Once above RTH it will start its descent.

Regarding the previous post; the reference altitude is takeoff point; that particular altitude is 0.

You mean once above the home point it will descend , right.

Just make sure the horizontal distance from the home point is more then 5 meter before hitting the RTH button. Or the aircraft could initiate immediate landing, over the edge of the cliff. ;)

Yes - It will be directly above Home Point  at RTH height (or higher - if drone was above RTH height when RTH was initiated) and then slowly descend.
