Just saw that there is a new update for the Pilot App today. Anyone know how to upgrade/update it?

I went to the App store but it doesn't show up as an update and when I turn on the App on my iPad it doesn't say I need to update it.

Any ideas??

Many times it takes a couple days for the roll out of an update on the IOS App store. It looks like this one hasn't "rolled out" yet.  Best guess- Give it 24-48 hours .

The IOS App is waiting approval. The Android App is ready for update!!!

Also when the IOS App update is available your device will tell you!!!

So, does anyone know what the new Pilot App is going to add? I'm running IOS with iPad Air 2. Right now version 1.3.0. Everything is working just fine right now.

DJI released info that states the youtube streaming, director as well as ground station with up to 100 waypoints will be coming by end of the month.. Not sure if this means this update or at the end of this month as they stated it a few days before the end of april.  They have not clarified it to my knowledge but it should be out in the next 24-48 hours as apple is a little slow and very very anal when it comes to allowing people to use the lightning cable and is usually the hold up with the pilot app on the ios side.  Just my opinion please don't burn me at the stake

24-48 hours from the time DJI says they have submitted it for approval.

If you're using iOS go to the App store and check your updates. You can get it there. It's mainly for the Phantom 3 and a few bug fixes but the App didn't specify what bug fixes exactly.

If you're using iOS go to the Apple store on your iPhone or iPad and check your updates. You can get it there.

I had version 1.1.0 on Android, downloaded the new app and it still says 1.1.0
What's going on?

Good ? I don't know. it looks like DJI updated the date and forgot the APP.

I would like them to add waypoints and POI. There are new quads coming out very soon that will be pushing DJI to update their firmware and pilot apt if they want to play. The waypoint was mentioned when I purchased the Inspire 1 as coming very soon. The POI was also mentioned as coming soon. How soon? Using POI you can have the camera track whatever you wish while you concentrate on flying. I forgot what POI stands for. I thinks it Point Of Interest. Correct me if I'm wrong so we do not get others mixed up. I joined this board because you guys and gals know a lot and have saved me a lot of time and frustration. I would like to tell you all thanks.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the app in the play store is still 1.0.10 and the one on DJI's download page is 1.1. You need to download it to your device and use an apk installer to load it. There are many out there. I used es file explorer and it worked.

POI is point of interest.  It allows you to circle an object while the camera remains pointed at it.
