I took my drone out last week and went to my local model airplane field because I wanted to get some video of some of the preserved marsh land's near my house.  I was able to get the drone up about 200ft and a max distance from me of about 1/2 to 3/4mi from my position (no where near the advertised 2.5mi).  Once I got home, I edited it on my mac in iMovie and added the Tom Petty song.

Nice test footage!
You might want to consider lowering the sensitivity on the controls for slower movement.
If you are after more smooth footage of course.

There are some decent tutorials out there about these settings, but if you want to get a quick start, just select the cinematic mode.

Yes, but I have the video unlisted, so only people that I share the link with can see it.  So, since I shared it on this site, all of you can see it, but if you went to my page directly it would be invisible to everyone.
