HI All,
Heres a video I shot of my very first flight with my New P4P. I know...... you did your flirst flight by jagged ice and by water? Well, I think it turned out ok.

This was my very first flight with a P4P.  Ok very first flight with a DJI product.  I hope you guys/gals  like it.

Still lots of people out ice fishing on the inland lakes. Some along the shore line of Lake Superior on 2-4 inches of ice. To me that's sorta crazy. A little shift in wind and some waves and your ice shelf if breaking apart and you might find yourself out floating in a great lake.      Thank you RedHotPoker

Ice surfing should be left to the professionals. Our NWT polar bears. If they had ice... ;-)

Great Video!

The white on that ice, was from it snowed on top of the ice, then the waves coating the ice/snow to make one mass. The flight was on Feb 19, 2018. Lake Superior is a very large body of water. We do have years when it freezes. Wind and temp fluctuation can keep it from freezing over. The wind does break it up and blow if from one shore to the other.  I just got back from another flight. In those two days the ice has moved back over to this side of the lake. A lot less open water right now. Ill probably edit it later, then post it up.    I do have some other videos up on my YouTube page. One i shot with my phone shows what the lake is like at -17. Seafog is pretty cool. Another video was my other drone's battery failing at -9F. The DJI batteries seem to handle cooler weather much better.

Great video   Where abouts was it filmed?  My wife is from the UP and we get up there often.  We spend some time on the Keweenaw Peninsula every year, and usually make a run to the Soo to watch the boats go thru the locks as well.

Thanks Dave in WI, It was filmed in Duluth MN. Shipping season opener should be coming soon. Droning the Lakers and the saltys will be really cool.

HI Dave, Id have to agree with you the drive up the North Shore is a sight to be seen. Especially in fall. Stoney Point is a spot not many know about, fun for diving as well. As for the P4P, I plan to have alot of fun with this drone.
