Just purchased my first Phantom 4 Pro+!  I had been thinking about it for quite a while.  I had 2 Chroma drones, but wanted to upgrade.  This is definitely that!  I'm looking forward to reading all of the adventures other Phantom owners experience as well as sharing some of my own!

Thanks everyone!  I did have a couple potentially dumb questions:  The arial map that is on my control screen.  Is it just to see where the drone and I are located or are there other features with it?  Also, I installed the AP on my phone, but is it needed, since my controller includes the monitor?

No the App on the phone is not needed wont work with the plus. The map will show where you are,  a line to your home, shows what direction the drone is pointed.

As Big P said the Go4 App is already installed and optimized for the P4P+ same as the Crystal Sky monitors. Depending on the manufacture date you may need to do Firmware updates. Read the manual twice, watch the DJI tutorial 3 times each and YA GONNA LOVE IT !!
