Dear friends,

I have updated my F550-NAZAv2 flame wheel to the E310.
Everything is going right except one thing:

each time the level of the Lipo goes under 11.2 V the F550 starts to go down, then I push the throttle to maintain the F550 at its right high, it is OK except that the F550 starts to vibrate....

What could be the cause of this vibration each time I pusht the throttle?(gains BASIC: 140 140 90 95; Attitude 150, 150)

many thanks in advance

Marc
an addition: the props of the E310 are the same as the original F550-E300, are they?

Marc

Dial the basic gains way down on the E310 VS the E300... I had to set them back to 60 to have what I had on 100 with the other DJI motors.

I agree with jdawson.nf , the gains are too high for these motors.

I would also recommend you lower your gains.

How ever posting a exact gain setting is risky. There are a lot of variables that go into gain tuning.

This is a good read for anyone wanting to better understand gain tuning.

I have a F550 with naza v2 and e310 also and found that all the default gains in the new firmware for naza is perfect and I'm even carrying the H3-3D gimble and a 4 cell 7200 mah 40c lipo..  Also, 3 cells aren't for copters..  You need to set the gains at defaults and buy a 4 cell 7200 mah 40c lipo and your F550 will fly like a dream..  Or at least a 4 cell 5000mah 35c lipo minimum for the hexacopter..  4 cell 4000mah 25c lipo works good on my F450 and gives me 11 minutes fly time off 80% of its capacity.   Go back and look at all the threads I've posted on in the past year about people complaining about 3 cells and how they all took my advice and came back to say I was right and they are happy since they did what I was saying...  I run 2 4 cell 6200mah 35c lipos too and get a 20 min flight time..  Set the first low battery warning at 14.2 volts and the 2nd stage at 13.8 volts with a 0 volt differential or how ever you want as long as those voltages are in the right columns

These motors need at least 11.5 volts to fly decently and 12.6 volts to fly perfectly....   That's why a 4 cell is needed..  3 cells only work if the payload is next to nothing and it's a 60c discharge rating...  So get the 4 cell lipo on your F550's back and I promise you will be happy you did
