Crashed my pro 4 and got a crack near the battery entry. does not look like it will effect flight stabilization, what do you think. Should I send it back for replacement under my refresh plan?

I'd send it back, but that depends if you can justify the replacement fee vs the damage done.

i understand the first replacement is $99 with the refresh package

Dwarren, as mentioned before, the performance cannot be ensured after the crash, therefore I'd suggest to send it in for a fully diagnosis. Also, the DJI Care Refresh only offers replacement service, instead of repair. If you do not want to use the refresh chance, I'm sorry it will be paid repair service.
