The example photo is awful, but I am puzzled as to how it gets the DJI logo down in the corner? This suggests the photo is not straight from trhe SD card, but processed in some way.

Forget the cached image, it is not the real file. Pop the SD card out of the aircraft, put it in a card reader and copy the file to your computer for viewing.

Then you have a faulty camera on your aircraft, best to send it in for repair.

Hi Citylimit, does the issue appears in every picture? Could you upload some original samples in the SD card for double check?

Have you tried it with a different SD card?
Try all options first before you send it in.

Yes, I have tried another sd card and it does the same. I don’t understand why my flight log photo looks good.

Yeah - that's weird that the cached photo looks ok. It doesn't make sense.
How does video look like?

[Edit:]
It just occurs to me - I'm not sure but some expert here will now:
I think the cached photo is not a low-quality copy of the file on the SD card.
The cached photo is a copy by itself that's being sent via Wifi to the device.
So my guess would be the problem occurs not inside the camera but while the main file is being written on the SD card.

That makes a lot of sense to me, now the question is, what do I do about it? calling all experts.

Problem fixed, but still a mystery. I took the gimbal and camera off, removed cover plates, inspected the solder joints and cables. All looked ok, put it back together and problem was gone. If it re-occurs I will replace the cables on the camera. Thank you all for your input, sometimes it just takes a fresh idea to get you on track.
