Is it possible to calibrate the compass WITHOUT an iPad (i.e., ONLY the remote?)

For some wierd reason, my remote will not connect to the iPad. However, it works fine connecting to the phantom...

Don't believe you could see if it was a successful calibration or not.

Hi there, it is available to calibrate compass without DJI GO. You can begin from here: Toggle the P-A-F button quickly more than 3 times(the last position should be P), the rear LEDs will be solid yellow which means it has entered Compass Calibration Mode. Then refer the normal steps(2/3/4) and calibrate.

And I just posted a link to a DJI video on how to avoid flyaways.  One item was new to me - that the compass is MANDATORY for RTH to work.  I thought it was just to assist - sort of a backup, so this was important new learning for me.
