Hi there,

is anyone else experiencing an issue when using asteroid mode where the resolution changes from 4k into 1080p when the mode starts. I've checked and i've seen others on YouTube recording asteroid mode in 4K. There is room on my SD card and I dont have issues on other quick shot modes such as Boomerang.

Any thoughts would be appreaciated,

I read that in the manual but there are people doing Asteroid in 2.7 and 4K as I posted above. Also I have definitely recorded Boomerang in 2.7K. I am confused......

A DJI Mod also posted in another topic saying that all quickshot modes are filmed at 1080p/30fps :s

Im pretty sure I saw a post on here from a DJI mod saying Quickshots are 1080p30fps.Either way its in the manual v1.2

I was just looking for that post, I filmed all the other quick shots in 2.7k and 4k was surprised it reverted to 1080 on asteroid expect as its using stills as well as video, When you leave quick shots I suggest you double check the settings as i'm sure mine did not revert back to 2.7k when I had finished

This is what I find. I can record 2.7 and 4k in all quick shot modes except Asteroid. I can start the Asteroid shot in 4k then a second in it switches to 1080p, unlike the examples i posted above showing people completing asteroid mode in 4k and 2.7.

Also their footage of asteroid looks better quality than mine reverting to 1080p, further confirming that they are doing it.

Is there a way to make our own 360 panorama, extract it of the drone sd card (including 4k vid) and post process the images with some 3rd party software to create the mini planet and then use a video editor (e.g. Filmora or Muvee) to make a similar vid to the one produce by DJI Go 4 editor?
