Hi All,

I am looking to buy the Osmo 2 through the apple store for my Note 8 as I can get it shipped faster through there. My friend insists that it is a different product that will only fit an Iphone which I find hard to believe, I am sure that the Osmo from the apple store will work with Android phones just fine right?

No worries its not designed for iPhone,it will work with your Note 8

The DJI Osmo Mobile 2 sold through Apple is the exact same version you can find on the DJI website/webshop, or any other shop. It works great with Apple products and therefore is sold at Apple. But it works just as great with Android devices. There is no specific Apple-only model. So you can get it from the Apple Store, even if you don't own any Apple products to use it with.

There are two versions of the DJI GO app needed to operate the Osmo Mobile 2.  One version is for iOS devices and the other version is for Android devices.

There is only one version of the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 hardware.

Yes, it will. The Apple Store delivered mine a week ahead of schedule. I have an iPhone X, but the phone holder on the OSMO Mobile 2 will hold virtually any smart phone.

Apple make it a bit misleading with their listing by adding "for iphone"  ... i came to ask the same thing as i've just ordered one but i have a galaxy S8+ but i was pretty sure its the same model ... I hope they ship mine soon though, quoted as 16th - 23rd or march !

Thank you all for your replies, I have now ordered the Osmo 2 and waiting for it to be dispatched. So far it is looking to be delivered between 20th - 27th of March but have heard from people that they can be dispatched much faster and arrive earlier.

Don't trust your "friend". LOL

Thanks for your support to DJI products, no worries, the Osmo Mobile in Apple website is the same with the device in our online store, and Samsung Note 8 is in our compatible list, hope you will get the device soon and enjoy it.
