Nice video. Here's one more tip for cinematic video: watch your shadow and try not to get it in the video unless you have a use for it (check your video at 2:16).
And a fun bonus trick: attach a monopod to make large crane-like movements. May also work really nice! But anyhow, thanks for the good advice and nice ideas!

Thanks on the comment. Actually i was making the shot with my shadows to get you the idea how i was walking. Yep.. a monopod could makethe effect really great!

I could not understand if I could use your method WITHOUT have it be a fast forward clip.  I want to have smooth videos, but at regular speed, not fast forward?

Yep you can..  Than it's better to do a timelapse. Your movoments will be too slow to get a perspection of movemet.
