Getting frustrated here: Charging light stays red very first time charging. Tried it for several hours, even
overnight. Tried different chargers and viewed all the trouble shooting vidseo's on Youtube, but no
result. Not a great start with this 200€ product! Please help!!

Sorry for the difficulties, the model of your device is Osmo Mobile right? Solid red means the non-DJI battery is detected or firmware updated failed.
Does the right indicator keep solid red when you power on the device?

yep, whilst charging but also when powering the device. It than get's into action for a couple of seconds...

Thanks for the clarification, please try to wipe the copper sheet inside the battery compartment with 95% alcohol and cotton swab. Let the alcohol air dry. If it does not work, wipe the battery contact with alcohol and cotton swab to see if the issue persists.

When the right indicator keeps solid red after powering on, please try to keep holding the Trigger button and press Shutter Button for three times and then let us know if there is any difference, thank you.
