Seems dji is giving the rc free with spark at 350 but at 550 you just get 1 extra battery and a case now. Why 200 apart. Am I reading it right as the 350 deal is best.

Yea it is a better deal now i think. which is a shame, i just bought the flymore package in early Feb. However, you get the 3 bay battery charger which is nice. I dont know how much it is by itself.

the battery charger is a must.  You can charge 3 batteries quickly (under 1 hour).  Otherwise you need to charge one at a time, WHILE the spar is connected at a slow rate.

I haven't done the math, but if the spare battery and charger make it more expensive than getting just the RC, then the fllymore is still worth it (plus you get spare props)

It actually doesnt matter because when you add everything up and buy everything separately you actually realize that you will have to pay a little more to get every item in the fly more combo.

Indeed, with the free remote the regular version is appealing.

I did some calculation (Dutch site)
Drone
499
Batt
59
Charger
79
Bag
69
SD
19
725

And I'm forgetting some small parts. (extra props + guards)
So at 649 the combo is still cheaper.

if it were me, I'd get the normal kit with free remote for $350 and add to it:
the portable spark charger: $89 on B&H
two more batteries: $100 pretty much anywhere

$539 and the charger is portable and doubles as a carrying case!

What... No difference to me. Not the first time I've taken a hit from a tech gadget. In the 90's I picked up a brand name portable GPS for $350. One week later the price dropped $200. This time I picked up a Spark with RC for $500+. Months later the RC is free. Now that's just plan Bogus. Looks like the product was overpriced to began with, as others maybe too. Then they come out with the Mav Air around the same time as the Spark reduction... Bogus again. Had I passed over the Christmas sale I would the owner of a Mav Air combo for sure. Nice marketing DJI, Not so good for this drone hobbyist and I'm sure I'm not alone.

That is how all tech companies work right?

That's what we get for being early adopters.

Rather than watching for what you didn't get, fly your spark and enjoy what you DO have!!!

There is always going to be something better/cheaper right after you buy something... especially when it comes to tech!

Never a truer word spoken!

All Tech drops in price.   Competition, even internal competition (Mavic Air vs Spark), is what spurs innovation.

I don't think that I have ever bought any tech that didn't drop in price at some point.

If it makes you feel better, go look at the price of the DJI OSMO Mobile 2,  vs OSMO mobile 1.

Why on earth do I need to look at Osmo prices? And please remind me where exactly did I state that tech does not drop in price in this thread?
I am fully aware that tech drops in price hence why I stated "never a truer word spoken" to Robert's reply "There is always going to be something better/cheaper right after you buy something... especially when it comes to tech!"
I suggest you read the posts in future...

Where are you finding it for $350. At that
price, I might buy another one.

Please let me know.

Thanks
