Isn't there a conflict between the programed logic of the A2 in the event of an engine failure and the use of the drop safe system? I thought the A2 detects a engine failure by detecting a amp spike, then would shut down an engine on an opposite arm. The pilot could reasonably recover the UAS to the ground. With the logic of drop safe, all engines would shutdown and chute will deploy. The UAS will crash (even with the chute) and ultimately suffer severe damage. No? |
