Does anybody know if the ZENMUSE X5S BALANCING RING FOR OLYMPUS 9-18MM LENS will work on a X5?

I'm afraid not, the Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm/4.0-5.6 in X5S requests two balancing rings and the weight is different from the balancing ring in X5, the balancing and performance may get affected, we do not recommend to do that.

So is there something for the X5 then?

Sorry that Olympus 9-18mm lens is not in the compatible lens of X5, we cannot guarantee the compatibility.
