I had a crash and got a big crack all g one arm and it appeared another motor didn't look right? Post a pic if you want.

Hey Chorn1966 (sorry I don't know how to quote) I ignored a compass error and continued to fly. The drone kinda picked a direction went into sport mode and kissed a tree.

sorry to hear about your crash.  Hope you get it fixed soon.

It arrived at location (Dr drone) today I'm just waiting for the quote. Hopefully it will be back in the air before spring break up here. (Northern Alberta canada)

I also made another video about fixing it myself.  I replaced the body and one of the ESC boards.  the body was $30 and the circuit board was $30.  I bought some other odds and ends as well for about $6 or so, so for less than $70, I was back flying!

Haha I watched your video before Robert and It is super entertaining!!..however you got skills I don't have!! My goodness I would just have a pile of scrap if I tried that lol.

I was genuinely afraid that I would end up in the same boat, but I just kept telling myself, "take your time," and "go slow."

It's definitely not for everyone though.  I hope everything comes out ok for you!

Well I got the bill!! 256$ canadian that included tax and shipping. So it looks like I'll be in the air next week! Ouch. Do not ignore compass errors just land..skyspy

There was another motor tha5 needed replaced and a set of 4 props as well.

yikes, for $337US, you can get a new one on amazon straight from DJI!
