A short Sunday night unedited video at 80 feet over the Drive In during intermission.  Opening weekend was awesome!  We had 540 cars Friday night, 450 cars Saturday night and 140 cars on Sunday night.  Sold out Friday night and had to turn away customers.  We had no room to park.  



Thanks for the shout out Jtr, Birdfolk and Axeman, and some I can't remember because Al Heimer is here, you guys are great!

It was the end of "the Avengers"  the second feature was "Cinderella"  plus being Sunday night, kids had school tomorrow.  I wasn't sure if I would get anything on video at all.  I will try to get between the screen lights and the parking lot next time,  I think the cars might show up better.

Gerry - no excuse or reason need be stated.  I was simply making a comment.  They were all leaving and I would love to see them arriving and filling in the lot.  All is good.

I know that.  It was the first experiment at night, but when they come in,  I'm sitting in the box office selling the tickets and not able to fly.     I wish I could get someone to fill in for me for about half an hour so I could get them all coming in while the sun is still up.

I'm glad I could be of some help.  We had a very busy weekend.  Took in about $28,000 dollars over the three nights.  My voice was so sore Saturday morning, I couldn't talk.  Got the next 4 nights off.

The good thing is that you have a drive it. We no longer have them, but it would be nice.

that sounds like a great weekend. with price of digital projectors hopefully you will have many more just like that one.  always loved drive ins , remember seeing psycho as kid in backseat of family car.
wont even mention the high school days in the 70's.. 3.2 beer at 18.

dusk is good for the plus .  720 /60, 400 iso,
you have my problem, I want to video daughters wedding on beach... but I will be occupied!

We reopened it about 10 years ago.  It was closed for about 20 years and falling apart.  We rebuilt everything.

This is the Drive in from the air and the video is from last fall with the leaves all colors.

Cool man.  I miss the drive-ins.  NJ built shopping malls and condos on top of all of them.

Opening time at 7 pm.  By 9 pm, we had almost 400 cars, we can park 500 to fill it up.

Hmm. Looks like a big job for a weed eater, lot's speaker posts. and a lot of fun. Loved drive in in my younger days. Back in with a pickup truck open the tail gate sit back have cool one and a nice warm body next to you. Now that was fun. Need a blanket doe of the time too. No, no to sit on. Good job Gerry.

Hi Gerry!  The first time I saw that picture was 50 years ago when I joined the USAF.  The caption under the picture was, "Sleep well tonight, your Air Force is alert and ready".

In any event, I find that I have no answers to the questions concerning the programmable buttons on the P-3 pro transmitter.  Can you help me out?
