My first attempt at a hyperlapse video on the Osmo 2. I used the 0.5 sec / forever settings (Also turning is hard to figure out with the gimbal)

You are one step ahead of me - I have yet to take my first Hyperlapse (Just received my OM2 a few days ago).  Maybe this weekend...

Now that you have the jist of it down, I would recommend shooting your next one in place with more visual interest, perhaps with more buildings on each side to give more movement or somewhere with more people.  And perhaps ending at a sign, statue - something that looks like the end of the journey.  This would tell the viewer more of a visual story.

But again, great job.  You are definitely on the right track!

I must say I had some issues with making hyperlapses, until I added active track.
That works much better in my opinion.
I will post some examples when I found time to edit them.

But in the meantime you can try to do a hyperlapse with active tracking some subject.
