I have a question that I am sure that has been answered many times. If your up on a hill with a gorge or valley below and you set waypoint at 200' and you have the next waypoint set at 200' over the edge will it drop down or will it stay in even keel with what was set at the top of the hill? Let say the valley is 300 feet deep from the top, you set it at 200' will it go out over the valley at 500' ? I hope I am not sounding confusing..... lol At any point thank you for any input you give.

It will stay at the 200 foot mark from your takeoff point.

Thanks Gerry. A friend of mine wants to fly a waypoint out over a valley and I didn't know if the bird would go down to the valley floor or stay up.

I guess the next question would be;   Could you set a negative number, so the Phantom would go into a valley???

I think you can set to 0 but try it when you setup a waypoint mission, try to set a negative value.
