Finally took the plunge and bought the Air. Went to set it up and it’s useless. Controller data error leads to IMU calibration. Hit the start button. Nothing. Work through all the steps again. Still nothing. Now I see on other forums that this is not an uncommon problem and the unit should be replaced. Don’t know about you but when I spend a considerable amount of money on something I expect it to work straight up. Logged it with DJI this morning and have heard nothing. A company with a reputation like DJI’s should not be shipping lemons. And I shouldn’t have to pay to ship it back to be replaced by another unit I now have no faith will work. Not good enough.

Give them time. Their service has been very good. It's all part of the drone world that sometimes things don't work as planned. They'll either walk you through the error or replace the item if necessary. Sometimes it's a quick fix.

You need 2 presses to start the AC or the RC.
Press then release, press again then hold for a few secs.
