Hello,

Is there a way for me to tell from the DJI GO 4 app, that I am facing the drone if it goes out of line of sight? I mean is there an indicator in the app that shows me where I'm pointing the remote in relation to the drone?

Feature request: Would love to see the hidden menu with quick toggles, (swipe to right) that we had on the Mavic pro. Since the Air's remote is lagging the abundance of customizable buttons.

Yes there is such a function, there are a few very small buttons in the little map in the left lower corner. I don't know which button exactly, but one of those button's activate some sort of round radar view.

Are you sure that that's what it does? I thought it was just a compass. It show's where I am facing relative to true north. Not sure if that tells you where the aircraft is so you can point your remote towards it.

I was pretty sure there was a 'dot' on the outline of that radar to show where the aircraft was, but I'm in doubt now, I'll check next flight.

It is the red triangular arrow that shows the position and direction of the AC.

The round one, it depends on your mobile device where it is displayed for you. For me it is in the lower left corner. And it is much more than just compass and location/direction of the AC. You can also see what is called "attitude".

OK, I thought that this was just a compass. I've been trying to test it out, it doesn't actually show the direction of the drone. I will check again today and report back.

In the middle of it you should see a red arrow, that is your Aircraft.

So the arrow should be facing away from me and in the center? is that how I know that it's right ahead of me?

It should be heading in the direction you want it to fly, no matter which one that is. It can go out of the center, but it always shows you the flight direction. This instrument is also very important when you have lost VLOS and want to fly it back to you.

Ah, ok. My question was wheather there was a feature that tells me my relative position to the drone, like if it was flying in front of me or not? To insure signal and video feed

Yes, that is exactly the red arrow.
