Was flying over some forest when this train came chugging along, since i did not plan this I did to many movements and did not fly over the train as I should have done

one thing I would suggest is to turn your gimbal movement rate down.  It makes for a more "cinematic" movement rather than the jerky rapid movement that the Spark does with a higher gimbal movement setting.  I have mine at 5 or less usually.  it's in the three dot menu under the gimbal settings.

Yeah, we have maps that show all trains and where they are, some day when the sun shines I will make sure I catch one in a better way

Thanks, I used Adobe Premiere Pro. But it could have been done in any video editor, did not use any Premiere-specific tools

I think it is two Rd / Rc locomotives pulling (obviously) a freight train
The map you refer to will tell the train number also.
Indeed some unplanned motion, but still great to see.
Exactly what I would love to shoot next summer!

haha yep I've been there... or you get excited and they're not smooth as well!

Yeah I have the speed turned down lately, at that time i thought i could do it smooooooth with my finger, but when it gets below freezing the fingers aint so smooth anymore :p

Thanks, I was thinkin of putting the number of the train in the video the next time i fly over some, as I said before there is a place close to me where they have several tracks in the middle of nowhere, where the trains can meet, and I have seen at several times one train wait for another, that could really make some nice videos i think

a slow moving freight train and land my Spark on a box car and then take off from it.......lol.

Certainly would make an excellent video if it was a successful landing and take off.

Thanks It would be a cool video but with the sparks "slow" landing, it would take some planing to not risk landing between carts :p

LOL. It's a nightmare when you don't realise you can't actually feel the sticks or the dial. Got some thermal gloves and altered the thumbs and index fingers so they can flap open to just expose the top joint. Works a treat.

I have a problem holding on to the RC while thumb+indexing when trying to control the camera and gimbal. :/

Thanks, It is zoomed in about 200% that is what makes it blurry, unless you watch it in 144p
