Have you ever lost something off of your Drone?

While taking a 360 Pano out in the desert just the other day, one of my landing legs dropped off the MP. Didn’t know it until I brought her home and it landed on a tilt just barely scraping a prop. I know the landing legs are not expensive. I just wanted this one back.

Examining the 360 Pano I decided there was a 50/50 chance it came off while taking the 30+ pictures. I enlarged it and went searching for the bush that was directly beneath the drone.

Do you know that bushes in the desert all look alike?  

This one had a cactus beside it and I found it and inside the bush was my landing gear.

Thanks to the 360 Pano I am a happy MP flier. The End.

Needle in a haystack - good find! Though that's one reason I don't use landing gear.

After using ICE to stitch the Pano I use Ricoh Theta ( free app ) to display it.

I only found it after I ordered another set.

That is the way it works. If I didn't order another set I probably would of never found it. I would of had to live without it.

Now I have a spare.

I can really like :-)  Looks very much similar to a large part of the interior of South Africa.  It is one of those things where the "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".  For me it is the very uniqueness of it all.  Thanks for sharing.

So true...  but hey, i got to film a few deer crossing the street last week!  

Can say that  I have lost anything off my drone, but good to know for future reference.
