With heavy rain, the plain of  Caussols in France, which is a "polje", floods for a while, and when the  water goes away in a hole i, the ground, a vortex forms, with a shape  similar to a spiral galaxy. The analogy is not fortuitous, as a galaxy forms around a black hole which is sucking matter around. The water resurfaces 7 km further in an  adjacent gorge. The Mavic pro was used.

In the universe all galaxies rotate around a gravity center. This "new galaxy" demostrate that all little matter phenomena follow the same law. Thanks for this example good job

Great interesting video. Where the water disappears in the underground, is it a natural place or is there a big pipe that leads the water somewhere else ?

Regards Leif.

The local ground is limestone, what is known as a Kartz, with a lot of fractures, caverns, all natural.

Thanks for the information.

We also have a lot of limestone in the subsoil where I live. There is a lake (Nors lake 57.03N, 8.6E) of 3.50 km2 which has no drainage. All excess water disappears into the limestone in the underground. Unfortunately there is no black hole where the water disappears.

Regards Leif.

Yes but your lake is low (altitude 12 m on Google Earth. So where could the water go ?
The temporary lake in my video lies by  43°44'26.83"N /  6°54'53.47"E at an altitude of 1085 m, so there is plenty margin before the sea level, and the subterranean natural duct can resurface still around 600 m high

I am impressed, it really did look like a  spiral galaxy.

Glad you didn't get to close otherwise like a Black Hole it would of sucked you in.

Now it's not my lake but it's correct that the surface is about 12 meters ASL. The water is in the underground of the limestone, which is very porous. If you look at the map and find Hanstholm harbor, there are natural fountains on the bottom of the harbor pool. When it was dug out the eel (fish) came into the port pool, even though it was separated from the sea. They thought they came with underground rivers from the hinterland. There should not be more than 1 mm in height difference before the water draws towards the lowest point.

I suppose that the water also runs out of limestone again in lower places in France.

Regards Leif.
