I have used PC Assistant and RC Assistant with my P2V, on a Windows 7 laptop.

How about using PC Assistant and RC Assistant with the P2V+?

Download and use the assistants from the DJI page for your phantom version.
I would guess that the Vision version does not have the gimbal software included.
