Hi. Sorry if I am repeating previous threads. The proppeller guards add about 40gm weight to 300gm.  I'm not worried about the extra weight & slightly reduced flight time. However, the 'cup' design of the guards affect flight & wind resistance.  I would use them indoors, near people anywhere or using smart modes outside in very low winds.
The DIJ specs do not show any wind/time performance with official guards installed.
As the guards change the effect of wind, maybe the DJI Go app should have option to select if they are installed & allow for the difference?
The specs/sw/firmware need updating to allow for official prop' guards & advise of any reduced performance, accordingly?  

I rarely use them and only for indoor flights. Wouldn’t worry too much about it. Anyway that’s me
