Just got my Spark back from DJI. Actually a replacement.
My tablet shows connected,ready to fly.
But the controller has a solid red light and I can't start to fly.
Any suggestions?

Are you in beginners mode?
And do you have GPS connection?

is it a new drone, but your old controller?

Have GPS, 13 satellites, not in beginners mode
New Spark (replacement) original controller.
Took a while to get them paired

You need to pair the controller with the Spark.

You'll have to link the new Spark with the controller.
1. Press and hold the Spark's power button for 9 seconds until it starts beeping
2. Press and hold the power button of the controller until it starts beeping.

Eventually the Spark and the Controller will link.

YAY.After a couple of goes, the connecting without the WIFI worked. I fired up the motors......Thanks heaps
