As a previous onwer of a SPARK and having all the early SPARK's days "mess", I jumped the gun this week on the AIR. I am reading conflicting reports of the AIR flying range experience, as some horrible numbers as low as 100~200 meters.

Any insite on this ? (remore control + RC connection to iPhone).

It really depends on interferences. However, don't worry range is absolutely great for such small device, those 4000m in FFC mode are reachable from what I have seen.

Thanks Axeli. I would be worried for only 100~200 meters.

as Axeli mentioned it's all about interferences.   I've gotten 100m all the way up to 800m in a heavy urban city (Los Angeles).  And that's with a Maxx Modd to the controller.  I have yet to try it in less dense area.
