Hi, I have a phantom 4 pro + and I have a problem. In fact when there is some obstacle in front (houses) says weak signal, 190m away from the radio. The antennas are oriented upwards.
It is possible there are interference on the area you are flying your drone that us why you get weak signal. Try to observe flying on different areas if you experience the same issue there are many reasons for interferance like wifi connections and such metalic objects and so on. Please do try another area or multiple area preferably open field if you experience weak signal
If you have houses between you and the aircraft, then yes, that is quite normal. Flying behind a building will cause loss of signal. But houses also have lots of radio interference from WiFi routers and such, so your range in a city environment will be reduced.
