Hi everyone, I have a question concerning flight restrictions in Paris. From what I've seen so far, Paris is basically a fly and die situation, but I've come across a few things suggesting that there are actually two parks that, on Sunday, are open for drone users to freely fly in. I have linked the sources below. The two parks are boulogne park to the west of Paris, and parc de la villetee in the north. Can anyone varify that this information is correct? I am planning on going to Paris this Summer, and while I would like to fly my drone, I would also like to be able to leave the country. While the links below suggest that these parks have been perminately designated as fly zones, I also sort of dont trust them because they're all over a year old. Can any locals attest to these claims?
Basically answer is a big "NO" unless you are operating for professionnal reasons with priori authorizations. There are special flight session organized at special times where those 2 parks are allowed temporarily but on a regular basis, they are forbidden.
The map with allowed/restricted/forbidden areas is here : (provided by French Mapping Agency together with French NAtional Aviation agency)

These information's are from 2017, they are correct until 21/05/2017. Can't find any information showing a date later that that.
Speaking fluently french and living on the border to France, I searched online in french and I couldn't find any newer information.
I was recently asking questions on a youtube comments section and a Paris resident stated that there are two parks where drones are "tolerated". This does not mean that they are legal. He says that many people fly there and no one bothers them. I would still pull up a "No Fly Map" and see what it says. And remember, they may not be as tolerant of tourists doing this.

There's an app called AirMap which tells you where can you fly in the world. Its in form of a webpage (www.airmap.io) or on an app for Android or Apple. Hope it works.
