When flying with a forum friend, I used his drone as a point of interest with my Phantim. 3 Pro'.
Flying in a circle above,  around his Phantom 3 Advanced.

We had two Advances and a Standard out that day. These were taken with the other Advanced. Can’t think off anything more fun than flying Phantoms except flying Phantoms with your best friend.

Sounds like a great idea trying active track. Would make an interesting video for sure. We shall also try this tomorrow and see how it goes.

It may not work but please let me know your observations.

I’ll be happy to post my results tomorrow sir,  it’s definitely on the flight plan to test out. I hope it works, could be very interesting for sure.

Wasn’t able to get out yesterday as life got in the way. But heading out shortly to do some video and test this active track aircraft to aircraft. Let y’all know soon if I can get it to work.

I'll try it this weekend.

Well I tried to do this  yesterday by launching two birds by myself as my friend was laid up do to the dentist ! It was blowing pretty good and things started looking like they could go south quick so I put this test on hold to today. I think at one point I did have one start tracking the other but it’s was too difficult to try and pull off by myself. Today I should have my partner pilot here and will try this again. It'd be great if this works.

Yes it would bgreat! But it is very difficult to manage two drones by yourself. You need one more person.

Today I tried active tracking (MP tracking P4P). But it didn’t work. Actually MP recognized P4P but it contionously moved towards  phantom and then moved away form it.  I was alone and managing two drones at the same  I’ll try one more time. But this time I’ll put P4P in tap to fly mode.

Winds have kept us from trying this yesterday. But we’re heading out in an hour to try again but their calling for strong winds here today again. But will be out there and if given the opportunity we shall try this one more time.
