FCC and yes I agree, my next test will be in sport mode. it was really windy and cold this day and i was a little nervous of loosing the little spark.

You did not adjust your antennas correct.

Impressive distance for the Spark.

the booster is pointed at the drone in the sky. Other than pointing the antenna and booster at the ground, which I'm sure would not give the best results,  I don't see how the antenna are not correct?

Nope completely stock. I was shocked at that i normally only get about 2000-3000ft

A 1000m in open area is in FCC the every days distance. So to speak (by own experience)
Or do you mean with the slow max 10kph speed? ;-)

It’s rare but it does happen ;-)

I watched this on YT last night, nice test... however, the cold air is not ideal for this ... I am in Canada too, northern Ontario,  we wont see any warmth for 3-4 weeks more I think...

My record so far a little over 12,000 ft with the range extenders. I could have gone further but i was freaking out. first video freeze and i was turning it around.

How in the world did you get that kind of range?!  Especially with all of the trees, buildings and such around?  I got mine to go maybe 1000 feet on flat, unobstructed ground and lost signal... with a signal booster

I really wish i knew.

Normally lose it at about 1500 ft. This time it started telling me the singal was weak and i was expecting it to RTH but it just kept going... and going... and going

I did a range test on friday.
On 5.8 ghz, CE Mode, without parabolic antenna addon I lost connection at 657m distance.
I guess i could've pushed the spark further but that was way more than I expected.
