I have just got my first phantom and have been out filming at 2.3k fat 50fps and have a pretty powerful Mac book pro but the video struggles to play when editing.

Should I be filming shorter clips and then merging them into a longer film?

Interested to hear if anyone else has this issue and how you work around it.

You can try doing shorter clips but i have found that once merged it gets even slower because the computer is dealing with multiple files instead of just one.
You could try doing all editing on each individual section and then merge all together at the end.
But your best option is to get a more powerful computer
