Spark videos are always just begging for a sound track, so where do you get your music?

Me: I play the music on a lot of my videos, and I am loving the site www.bensound.com  If you don't have a regular site that you're getting music, check it out!

I usually try and make my own.
Not the best there is, but it is good enough for me

How do you make yours?  do you play instruments?  I make mine in garage band and I play guitar... I can limp through playing keys as well.

Do you ever collaborate with anyone?  My brother in law and I have a drop box folder that we share and make music together even though we live across the country from each other.

Not yet.
But who knows what will happen in the future

I go to youtube then search for "no copyright music"  You can also add text like "action music no copyright"..etc.    Then I use the site "keepvid" to download just the audio component of the video.

This is such a great music indeed i also do play music yet didnt composed one to be used for my clips as yet but working on some thou. However i get music from epidemicsound its for free but with limits

I must say it takes a lot of time.
But it is nice to do, and I can re use most of the songs for a couple of times.

hm good idea.  I didn't think of searching youtube.

Pond5 is a good place for music and they have cheap or free copyright free content.

Youtube and Soundcloud.

I'm not famous enough on YouTube yet, (and probably never will be) to worry about not getting monetization from my YouTube vids because of using copyrighted songs. So I just use what I have in my collection and let YouTube deal with the copyright stuff. Most songs so far they've allowed on my vids without any warnings or issues. One song I had to remove because it was not allowed to be used in any YouTube vids.

I used to say the same thing until one of my videos hit 1,000,000 views. Then people told me that I should have monetized my stuff. I shrugged. It’s now over 2 million views.  I don’t know what that means in dollars, but I started over in January and I’m trying my best to only use my own content, but it’s hard to keep the music up with the videography.

Bass Rebels. I'm such a fan I've considered subscribing to them for $5 a month to get the music early. Not that you have to pay. All they ask is you tag the song info in your video details. Just out of curiosity I tried to find out how much 2M views would get you $-wise. Apparently it can vary a lot, from maybe $400, to maybe $4000. So I guess a free Spark or a free Inspire 2 if you're on the low or high end, or maybe a Mavic Pro Platinum if you're in the middle.

I wouldn't mind some free money like that, so maybe I'll look more closely at copyright free music in case I hit the YouTube jackpot one day!

I don't publish videos online anywhere these days so I don't worry about copyrighted material ie cool music. I really just like playing around and working on my post-production editing skills. I l often listen to music and then I think what would look good as far as flying to it. So right now I'm listening to a song called "Duel" by Swervedriver and thinking of how I would approach the flying portion of this from takeoff to the end.
