What kind of accessory do you recommend to make it feasible to use Osmo+ mounted on a DJI tripod combined with a microphone (Rode VideoMicro + DJI Osmo Quick Release 360° Mic Mount) mounted on a mobile device holder?

  

By the way, is there an adaptor to mount Osmo on an ordinary photography tripod?

I’m using my Osmo+ with DJI Extention Rod + Tripod, but the Rode VideoMicro Mic + DJI Osmo Quick Release 360° Mic Mount) mounted on a mobile device holder.

However, when I need to set higher heights, the mic stays close to the ground and too far from Osmo body. Additionally there is the cable length limitation.

Call me crazy but do you just need a longer cord? Allowing you to position the mic where you want it. I have the rhode mic as well and use the Mic mount. I use the Osmo base to screw onto a tripod I got from amazon. I use it to film a podcast. Does the trick.

A longer cord will work, but it still looking a kind of weird: the mic close to the floor, and the camera on the top.

What you need is a Straight Extension arm... put this between the Osmo+ and the tripod... microphone can then be attached to extension arm...

Much better now... with Extension Arm and some RAM Mount adaptors to able to use on ordinary tripods.

Awesome. Glad it worked out!

Yes I use the Osmo base as you use the RAM mount. Our set up looks the same except I don’t have have extension for the phone holder.
