I love that I can take my drone with me on MTB rides...  always an opportunity for a flight.

This is a working quarry in Ontario, Canada...  Probably looks much better with all the snow coverage....

Snow scenes are so great to watch. It gives a lot of depth and contrast to the video.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey, good point!  Yeah, looks like it would be pretty deep..  We have a few lakes already around here that were old quarries.

Quarry lakes are usually good for scuba diving, because of good visibility.
But they have to be made safe.  No left behind equipment that could collapse on a diver.  In one flooded open quarry, they sunk a school bus, small airplane, and a few other things for divers to clown around on for underwater photos.

Oh that sounds like it would be so cool, especially with the water being super clear I would imagine...

In Missouri, there is an abandon mine that partially flooded, you can Scuba dive in.  I believe all dives are escorted due to risk of being in a mine with numerous fully flooded tunnels.
See: https://www.bonneterremine.com/

The water is around 60 deg F. according to them.  I thought it was closer to 54.  You do  need a full wet suit!
All though if you are from Canada, that is probably bathing suit temp water.

For those who don't dive there is a boat tour of area of mine that is only partially flooded.
