Hi people.  I have a dji spark and a android phone.

The seller who sold the drone to me told me that it is not possible to update or refresh the REMOTE CONTROLLER without IPHONE. Neither on mac computers.  

Is this true? How can i refresh the rc software then? I need to buy an Iphone? lol

False. Remote controller only can be upgraded via DJI Go 4 (IOS or Android) and can not  via USB (PC or MAC).

Last firmware version for Spark Remote is 01.00.0400.

Thanka for your help.   What about REFRESHING it? He refreshed it through iphone! I saw it.  But he said I cant refresh on Android.  is it true?

Hi Lucas, you can upgrade or refresh the RC via the DJI GO 4 app. May I know the issue with your RC? If you need to refresh the RC firmware, you can try to connect the RC and your mobile WiFi, launch DJI GO 4 app, press the upper right icon on the first page for about 9 seconds, then a window will pop up and you can see if there is any version available for refreshing. Hope it helps.

Thor I Cant find this icon you are referring to in the upper right corner, can you provide a screenshot/video of it? Pressing 9 seconds etc?

The three dashes icon on the first page of the APP. See if it works.

I got to this page, see if its correct.  But why there isnt a REFRESH OPTION? Just downgrade?

"Downgrade" to the same version I think is equivalent  to refresh.

("Downgrade firmware to:" is a fix text in the application and you can select firmware version with the down arrow. If you see application is not too elaborated as Assistance 2 )

You already has the last firmware version.
