I was out at the park last week recording some videos about the Tello and the Osmo Mobile 2 and got the pleasure of flying my Mavic Air in both beautiful summer weather as well as a winter blizzard all in about a 20 minute time frame.  Check out how quickly the weather changes from sun to full on blizzard!  It was a fun day!

I had my Mavic in the air when a freak rain cloud caught me off guard. Rained on me but the Mavic was still flying in the sunshine. Lucky me.

I say it was a little less the 1/2 mile.

I couldn'd imagine that it was possible to fly when snowing!

Pretty cool!  I'm surprised the Mavic Air handles snow so well.  Doesn't it get soaked?

It was a little bit wet, but handled it like a champ!

This weather is everyday in where I'm from. Flying is tricky.

It's been stunning after such a horrible winter. Off to Cyprus tomorrow to chill for a week. Decided not to take the drone as just want to totally relax and not worry about batteries

Amazing Video and I Agreed, I would like to see more frequency of the weather types and more weather types in the future.

That happens a lot - I posted a random pick on here once that I thought was OK and it got well over 1,000 views then I posted one which I thought was awesome and got less than half of that. Everyone has different styles and tastes that they like I guess.

Yes it does.  I've heard from many creators that the videos they are most proud of or have put the most time and effort into are quite often their lesser viewed videos and the ones they put almost no time or effort into are the ones that get the most views for them.

Nice video. How long have you been making videos? I see you own the Spark and Mavic Air according to your profile icons. Is it worth it to start flying drones with the Spark or just go right to the Mavic Air for better video quality?

I started when the Spark first came out.  I got mine on the first day Spark's were shipped just over a year ago.  Trying to decide the which drone to get for yourself is something hard for someone else give an answer to.  For me the Spark was a great entry point into this hobby.  I wasn't sure if it was something I would really get into or if it would just be a casual hobby for me.  Starting with the Spark allowed me to dip my toe into things with a reasonable budget.  I still love my Spark, but now that I have the Mavic Air, quite honestly, I rarely ever fly my Spark unless I'm making a video about it for my YouTube channel or I've ran out of Mavic Air batteries.  For me, the size and form factor are more convenient for the Mavic Air and its capabilities are much higher.

That doesn't answer the question specifically for you, but hopefully that is helpful feedback.  Best of luck in your decision and I hope you have many fun and safe flights in your future no matter which one you choose!  Cheers!
