Having updated my iPad Air 2 today with Pilot App 1.1.1, I find I can no longer manually select ATTI mode.

With Multiple Flight Modes selected, when I switch to A I get the warning that ATTI mode is selected and that I would be safer in GPS mode. However the top banner remains green and saying Flying in P-GPS Mode.  The aircraft remained rock steady and fixed in space despite the windy conditions.

This fault appeared with the upgrade to App version 1.1.1 and before and after updating the firmware to 1.2.1.3.

Hi

Here is a screen capture of the moment the ATTI (A) mode is selected. The warning appears briefly but the mode remains in P-GPS.

Hi, would you please share with us some screenshot or videos (better option) about the phenmonemon y ...

For additional information, I did install the SDK 2 firmware update 1.2.1.2 before noticing this problem with manual ATTI.  I have since updated to the official 1.2.1.3 firmware.

Also since installing the SDK2 1.2.1.2 firmware my recorded flight times are double the actual flight times (ie. 30 mins recorded and displayed in Pilot App user center Flight Log for a 15 mins timed flight).  This has not been corrected by 1.2.1.3.

My latest upgrade logs is as follows:

Thank you for your report.  Actually the SDK version from the dev.dji.com is higher than the version from the official webpage(www.dji.com). So upgrading the firmware version won't solve the problem. Still, we will try to reproduce the problem and inform you as soon as possible.

Thank you for the response. Is there a way of resetting my Inspire 1 to an 'older' version of firmware (ie. 1.2.1.3)?

I sent you an email, however, it seems there is no reply. Once you update the higher version of the firmware, you just couldn't downgrade to the older version. However, the problem you can hasn't be reproduced yet. We will tell you the latest result as long as we succeeded in reproducing it .

Could you please provide more details about how you set the failsafe altitude and have you turned off your drone or kill the application in the background?

Hi
The only email I received was dated 13 May 15 which stated you would be following up my case and for me to wait.  Was there another one?

I still cannot get my Inspire 1 to enter ATTI mode using the P-A-F switch despite having Multiple Flight Modes selected.

Hello..
What i mean for the camera gimbal, is the camera bundle of the inspire one, that you take it off to put it in travel mode.
The failsafe altitude is the altitude you set in case you lose signal, at what altitude you want your drone to come back

Sorry for the late reply. We are still under the process on the problem you reported. One thing which is clarified is after update the 1.2.1.2, then you tried to update 1.2.1.3 officialy version. However, the flight controller version in the latest 1.2.1.3 is lower than the 1.2.1.2. So it won't update. And since your problem is connected with the flight controller, so it will still exist.

Exactly. The version control between the SDK2 (1.2.1.2) and formal release (1.2.1.3) has fallen down badly. I'm a pleased that you are able to confirm that the problem lies in the Flight Control firmware.

When will this issue with the inability to manually switch to ATTI mode be fixed?  I am unable to practice and demonstrate my skills to fly in ATTI  mode until this issue is resolved.
