I am used to flying DJI Phantoms and am wanting to move up to an Inspire 2. Will I still be able to watch footage directly from the drive that it is recorded on? Not really interested in having to spend hours and hours rendering Raw footage just to watch footage of just regular stuff I just used to quickly be able to watch on the Phantoms. I really like the look and the features available on the Inspire 2 (along with the options available in the future, If wanted). I just don't want to buy this drone and then find I have to spend buttloads of extra money and time just to watch videos I am shooting for myself.

If I can watch the footage easily with the X5S would I still be able to do the same thing with the X7S?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can always pull out the SD card to see any videos on there. You should be able to watch through the cached files.

To expand on what mark said..

If shooting to the sd.. you can play back that directly

If shooting prores to the ssd,you can play that back directly with the reader.

If shooting raw to the Ssd, youcan not play those directly, however, you can view a 4K proxy recorded to the SD card.
