Hi Guys,

I'm flying in July to Indonesia and I would like to take my DJI Spark with me. I'm allowed to carry the batteries with me, but they all need to be detached from the drone. But I can not detach the battery of the Remote controller. Does anyone know how to deal with this?

Yours.

Don't worry about the RC...it is like any other battery operated item...cell phone, tablet, etc.  There's no way to remove the battery from RC.

Yep the airline will only inspect the unit once they find out there is no way to take out the battery you do not need to detach it

Jerpie, I suggest that you can also consult the airline company/Garuda airlines directly for further info.

I'm sorry I did not reply.

Went without any problems. Advice, de-charge them.

Also AirAsia didn't make any problems about it.
